  90. Description
  91. -----------
  92. This was purchased from adverts.ie in 2008 to potentially run some bsd,
  93. or something. About the same time it arrived it was becoming clear that
  94. [asplodey](/asplodey "wikilink") was a useless piece of crap. Since
  95. asplodey was so unreliably shit it was decided that we should use sprout
  96. instead and throw asplodey away. Sprout also took over from
  97. [fap](/fap "wikilink") as our remote logging server, and
  98. [obelisk](/obelisk "wikilink") as our nagios server.
  99. In late 2009/early 2010 we began phasing out sprout, as we had acquired
  100. a PowerEdge 2650 ([b4](/b4 "wikilink")) to take over it\'s work. Sprout
  101. is falling apart anyway.
  102. ## Services
  103. None anymore, we\'re phasing it out.
  104. James Reilly (fun@rb) has plans to put it to good use as a router/DNS
  105. box.
