  1. ## Got something you think Redbrick should have or should do? Put it here!
  2. ### Services
  3. * OpenID - make <> a valid
  4. OpenID service
  5. * Don\'t quite get what this is all about, looks enterprise
  6. web2.0-ey though, let\'s do it.
  7. \--[Werdz](/User:Werdz "wikilink") 17:03, 26 Jun 2008 (IST)
  8. * muWordpress
  9. * Good idea in theory. Maybe with something that isn\'t wordpress
  10. (smouldering crater in the ground, security-wise) though?
  11. * Optional Google Apps for domain
  12. * Subversion, http/https
  13. * Excellent idea. Maybe git too while we\'re at it. And/or
  14. bazaar.. \--[Werdz](/User:Werdz "wikilink") 17:03, 26 Jun 2008
  15. (IST)
  16. * bebo/facebook bridge
  17. * mono/mod_mono
  18. * Proper bleedin boards, phpbb or somefink
  19. * I\'m working on a nice set of boards, anyone who feels like
  20. helping (it\'ll require an indexer, a thin layer to connect to
  21. the nntp server for posting, and a nice web interface) is
  22. welcome though
  23. * Just separate it all - screw combing the two boards. Get a
  24. decent forum up with the usual forums, general, events etc
  25. and put up course forums like charlie\'s for ca - there is
  26. nothing that does this at present and people would find this
  27. a far easier way to start chatting with people from their
  28. courses then figuring their way onto putty and into chat and
  29. asking everyone what are they studying.
  30. * proper suggestion box process also :)
  31. * VPN - allow people to connect to a graphical redbrick already. Allow
  32. people to install like Eclipse and plugins etc.
  33. * Redbrick Client? A graphical client that connects to IRC, MUD
  34. (maybe?), receives rss feeds from website, etc\... Would seriously
  35. help 1st years who join CA but haven\'t got a clue about computers
  36. apart from how to turn it on and use Internet Explorer (/vomit).
  37. Would also be useful for lazy people who don\'t want to use putty,
  38. irc clients, etc.
  39. * MMORPG - Something a bit more graphical than the MUD at least,
  40. easily done in 2D. (I have premade MMO code done in Java, uses
  41. OpenGL(2D, not 3D) and Apache/Mina for server stuff).
